This in-progress cookbook, created in collaboration with Veggie Box, celebrates the raw, unfiltered beauty of fresh produce. Inspired by the perfectly imperfect shapes, textures, and hues of vegetables, the design approach captures their unique charm by presenting each item as if it were a masterpiece in a gallery. The goal is to elevate these humble ingredients, showcasing their “ugly beauty” in a way that feels both authentic and stunningly artistic.

Every vegetable is treated like a work of art—photographed and styled with painterly lighting and composition to highlight its natural character. Blemishes and irregularities become part of the story, a testament to the individuality of each piece. This design aims to spark appreciation for the authenticity and richness of real produce while connecting readers to the sustainable ethos of Veggie Box. The resulting visuals transform every page into a celebration of the artistry found in nature’s most honest forms.
